Louis Benjamin Doshier, 51

Louis B. Doshier was born on January 7, 1959 to the late Steven O. Doshier and Beatrice Doshier Duhon in Lake Charles, Louisiana. He departed this life on Sunday, May 16, 2010. He was the third born child born to this union. He graduated from W.O. Boston High School as an honor graduate in the Class of 1977. He was recruited and received a football scholarship from Grambling State University under the late legendary football coach, Eddie G. Robinson Sr. He married Donnie Lewis, from that union he had one son, Christopher. He lived and worked most of his life in Lake Charles with Halliburton Industries, Boeing and was last employed at W.R. Grace & Company for 12 ½ years as a laborer. He was a devoted member of Sharon Chapel Seventh-day Adventist Church. Due to his failing health, he resided at the Jennings Guest House until his passing.

Survivors include one son, Airman First Class Christopher C. Doshier (Dallas, Tx), one step-daughter, Tywanna (Alex) Dushime (Denham Springs, LA), one sister, Deborah Doshier, two brothers Steven Doshier II and Eric (Mona Lisa) Doshier all of Lake Charles. One grandchild, Grayson Dushime of Denham Springs, La. Five nephews, one niece and a host of cousins, other relatives and friends.
