Adele Marie Pete, 54, was a native and life-long resident of Lake Arthur, Louisiana.  Adele was born on September 30, 1965, in Jennings, LA to Thomas Pete, Sr., and Mary Ann Beverly Pete.  She was a graduate of Lake Arthur High School and attended McNeese State University.  Adele accepted Christ at an early age and was baptized by the late Reverend G. C. Chaney at Antioch Baptist Church in Lake Arthur, LA.  Adele was a former Laborer in the Industrial Industry.  She loved traveling, spending time with family and friends.

Adele leaves to cherish her memories, her son, Patrick Pete of Baltimore, MD; her daughter, Tamaryan Pete of Lake Arthur, LA; her sister, Stella Peta of Lake Arthur, LA; her brothers, James (Tennile) Pete, Thomas Pete, Jr., both of Lake Arthur, LA, Dennis (Annie) Pete of Breaux Bridge, LA; Rayford (Shalaunda) Pete of Belton, TX, Andrew Pete of Houston, TX; a host of nieces, nephews, great-nieces, great-nephews, family, and friends.

Adele was preceded in death by her mother, Mary Ann Beverly Pete.

Celebration of Life Services will be held at 12:00 pm on Saturday, July 4, 2020, at Semien-Lewis Mortuary in Jennings, LA. with Pastor Jered Thomas, of First Baptist Church of Lake Arthur, LA officiating.  Visiting will be in the Mortuary from 9:00 am to 12:00 pm.  Burial will be in Antioch Baptist Church Cemetery in Lake Arthur, LA under the direction Semien-Lewis Mortuary of Jennings, LA.
