Albert J. Huntsberry, age 36 passed away on February 4, 2017 at Opelousas General Hospital in Opelousas, LA. He was born in Kaplan, Louisiana on October 10, 1980 to Mary Huntsberry and Ronnie Green.

He is survived by his mother, Mary Huntsberry; father, Ronnie Green; one brother, Tyrone Huntsberry; one step-sister Nesha McClarty; two uncles, Ricky Huntsberry (Connie) and Claude Huntsberry (Teresa); seven aunts, Theresa Rudd, Viviana Matthews (Douglas), Shirley Keitt (Scottie), Betty Reeves (Michael) Stephanie Huntsberry, Barbara Batiste and Regina H. Clark; best friend, Jamie Leblanc.

He was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, Alfred and Mary Huntsberry and Verbie Mae Green; aunts, Lou Anna Maxile, Barbara Huntsberry, Dorothy Disharoom and Joetta Huntsberry; uncles, Alfred "Joe" Huntsberry, Ferald Green, and Henry "Hank" Disharoom.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 am on Saturday, February 18, 2017 at Mt. Zion Baptist Church, in Gueydan, LA., with Reverend Peter Joseph. officiating.  Visitation will be held at the church from 8:00 am until the time of funeral. Burial will be in Gueydan Cemetery located in Gueydan, LA.; under the direction of Semien-Lewis Mortuary of Jennings, LA.
