Mrs. Alice Jack Woods, 80 Alice Jack Woods was a native and life-long re3sident of Elton, LA. She was called from earthly labor to her heavenly reward on Sunday, June 7, 2015 in Lake Charles, LA. Alice was a faithful member of Mt. Pilgrim Baptist Church of Elton, pastored by Reverend Freddie Jack. She served as a Sunday School Teacher and was a Deaconess. Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. Saturday, June 13, 2015, in Mt. Pilgrim Baptist Church in Elton with Reverend Freddie Jack officiating. Visitation will begin at 8:00 am in the Church. Burial will be in Chretien Cemetery under direction of Semien-Lewis Mortuary of Jennings. Survivors include five sons, Marvin Woods, Sr., Kevin Ray (Jennifer) Woods, Gary (Debra) Woods, all of Lake Charles, and Rev. Darrell Lee (Karon) Woods and Carlas John (Kim) Woods, of Elton. One Sister; Mrs. Lucille Gobert and one brother, Alex Jack, both of Elton; 18 grandchildren and 30 great-grand children.
