Andrew Lemelle, Sr., 73, a native of Oberlin, Louisiana and a resident of Fenton, Louisiana, passed away peacefully, while surrounded by his family.  Andrew was born to the late Wilson Lemelle and Catherine Bushnell Lemelle.  He worked as an Iron Worker in the Construction Industry and was a faithful member of St. Charles Borromeo Catholic Church in Fenton, LA.

Andrew is survived by his children, Lisa Jones (Barnaby) of Jennings, LA., Andrew Lemelle, Jr. (Berlisha) of Iowa, LA., and Stacey Wiseman (Richard) of Houston, TX; his siblings, Annie Janice (Auldey), Wilford Joseph Lemelle (Clara), Shirley Lemonia (Calvin) all of Fenton, LA., Irene Brown of Houston, TX, Veronica Lafanette (Mark) of Lake Charles, LA., and Rebecca Thierry (Robert) of Iowa, LA; his aunt, Edmonia Bushnell of China, TX; one godchild, John Jopes; 8 grandchildren and 6 great-grandchildren.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:00 A.M., Saturday, November 20, 2020, at St. Charles Borromeo Catholic Church, 804 3rd Ave, Fenton, LA.  Visiting will be in the church from 8:00 A.M. until the time of the Funeral.  Burial will be in the St. Ann Cemetery in Soileau, LA. under the direction of Semien-Lewis Mortuary of Jennings, LA.
