Anna Lee Cretchen-Duplechan, 73, a former resident of Silverwood, LA, entered into eternal rest on Sunday, February 15, 2026. She was born in Lake Charles, LA, to Margie Leopold-Cretchen and Douglas Cretchen Sr.

Anna enjoyed spending time with her family and friends, and she especially loved reading and singing. She was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, aunt, sister, and friend. Compassionate and caring by nature, she touched many lives with her kindness and generosity. In 1972, she proudly served her country in the U.S. Navy, and lived in Pennsylvania and Hawaii, before returning to Louisiana. She married the love of her life, the late Harold Duplechan, and settled in Jennings to raise her family.

Throughout her life, Anna faced every trial with remarkable strength and unwavering faith. Though her body carried burdens that would have broken many, her spirit remained unshaken. Even in her hardest moments, she met life with quiet courage and grace, showing the heart of a true fighter.

In both hardship and joy, she leaned on her deep trust in God. Her faith was not only spoken but lived each day through her acts of kindness, her compassion for others, and the steadfast love she freely gave. Those who knew her felt the warmth of that love and the strength of the faith that guided her life.

Anna is survived by her children: Christopher Price, Derrick Price, Donna Duplechan, Monica Duplechan, Robin Jones, and Dana Jones; her grandchildren: Markus Grant, Kamri Curry, Gerard Slowe, Mikayla Sanders, David Witt, Sean Jones, and Rumei Jones; sisters Donna Hollier and Maryland Cretchen; her brother Douglas Cretchen Jr.; and a host of other relatives and friends.

She is preceded in death by her husband, Harold Duplechan; her parents, Margie Leopold-Cretchen and Douglas Cretchen Sr.; her siblings Wanda Cretchen and Brenda Campbell; and her nieces Kimberly Hollier, Deana Cretchen, and Felicia Cretchen.

Anna leaves behind a legacy of courage, devotion, and unwavering love. Though she will be deeply missed, her memory will continue to inspire all who were blessed to know her.
