The family and friends of Anna Belle Jones are mourning the loss of their loved one who was called from this life on May 7, 2023, at the age of 77.  Anna Belle Jones was born in Jennings, LA on November 2, 1945, to the late Wilfred Etienne, Sr and Emma Pattum Etienne.  Anna Belle retired from Jefferson Davis Paris School System as a Cafeteria Worker.  During her working years, she was known for her huge cinnamon rolls and specialty breads.  Anna Belle loved to love on her family and friends. She always opened her home and her arms to all. She stayed active playing granny basketball.  Her favorite teams were the New Orleans Saints and Jacksonville Jaguars and she enjoyed watching whichever team was playing basketball.  She is known amongst the family for always requesting "pizza, pizza" and saying "only coke comes in my house." I can still hear her saying, "Oh well." Her words and love will forever live on in our hearts.

Anna Belle is survived by her sons, Jackie (Anjanette) Etienne, Eugene Jones, Amile Jones Jr: her daughters, Marianna Etienne, Alma Neal; her grandchildren, Rebecca Miller, Shaquana Miller, Timicca Middleton, Latara Porch, Tiara Harris, Jackie Etienne, Nyla Etienne, Jordan Etienne, Jada Thibodeaux, DeMarcus Williams, Yvhandor Pitre, Analise Jones, Anjanae Jones, Wesley Clarke, Yejida Thomas, Jaxson Jones, Anniah Jones, A'Marie Jones, Aaron Jones, Arianna Jones.

Anna Belle was preceded in death by her parents, Wilfred Etienne, Sr. and Emma Pattum Etienne; her husband, Amile Jones; her brothers, Hayward Etienne, Sr., Jessie Etienne, Sr.; her sisters, Laura Daniels, Elsie Achane Boone, Ritha Achane Edwards, Octavia Etienne; her living brothers and sisters: Wilfred (Pearl) Etienne, Arthur (Betty) Etienne, Sr., Daily Etienne, Dorothy Lewis, and Rosa Morgan; her special friend, Shalow Rogers.  She was blessed to have a host of nieces and nephews, cousins, and many other loving friends in which she adored and cared for dearly.

Memorial Service will be held on May 20, 2023, from 2pm-5pm in the Church Chapel at Semien-Lewis Mortuary, 819 N. State St. in Jennings, LA.  There will be a Homegoing Celebration for Anna Belle at the Marcus Cain Park, 510 Peters St. Jennings, LA 70546 after the Memorial Service.
