Mrs. Anna Mae Wright, age 83, was called from earthly labor to her heavenly reward on Monday, February 23, 2015 at the Jennings American Legion Hospital. She was a native and life-long resident of Jennings, LA. Anna was born on January 9, 1932 to her parents, Willie Davis Jr. and Anna L. Davis. Anna worked in the Laundry with Broussard Laundry. She was a faithful member of Mt. Triumph Baptist Church in Jennings, LA., pastored by Reverend Carl M. Fontenot Sr. Anna is survived by her children, Rogers Davis (Donna Mouton), Barbara Wright (Darl Watson), Earl (Glenda) Wright, Velma (Lynn) Jenkins, Tammy Allen, and Michael (Valyncia) Polk; her sister, Lillie Black. She was preceded in death by her husband, Earl Wright Sr., both parents, Willie & Anna Davis; her brother, Raymond Freeman, and her sister, Margie Miller. Visitation is Saturday, February 28, 2015 at 9:00 A.M., until time of service. Funeral Services will be at 2:00 P.M. al at Mt. Triumph Baptist Church of Jennings, La.
