Funeral services for Mrs. Audrey Louise O'Brien Green, 99, will be at 11:00 AM Saturday, April 6,2013 in Union Baptist Church. Rev. Gerald W. Perkins will officiate. Burial will be in Benevolent Cemetery under the direction of Semien-Lewis Mortuary. Visitation will be from 9:00 AM until time of service at Union Baptist Church. Before her illness, she participated in various organizations and held offices in many of them. She was Chairperson of the Deaconess Department of the Seventh District Association, Sunday School Teacher at Union Baptist Church for 30 years, and a choir member for 20 years. She also was Chairperson of the Deaconess Board of Union Baptist Church, Vice President of the Parent/Teacher Association, Jennings American Legion Hospital Pink Lady for 10 years, Parade Marshall for the M.L.K Parade, and a member of the Rosebud Chapter 45 of the Eastern Stars. Survivors include her children; Coston (Etta) Green Jr.; Carver Green both of Jennings; and Claude (Mary) Green of San Jose, California; nine grandchildren and ten Great-grandchildren.
