Celebration of Life for Barbara Gayle Rideaux, 64, will be held Saturday, March 16, 2024, at Semien-Lewis Mortuary at 1pm. Elder Allen R. Lazard will officiate. Barbara was born in Lake Charles Louisiana February 1, 1960, to Hesterine White and Edward Nixon. Barbara entered eternal rest on Saturday February 24, 2024. She was a retired hospitality worker who helped many throughout her life.

Barbara is survived by her husband Ronald Tusey of Houston, TX, children Ellis Rideaux, Almaneka (Jimmy) Rideaux, Steven (Shamara) Rideaux, Ashera (Brennen)Rideaux, and Everette (Tionna) Rideaux  all of Houston, TX Three Sisters Renita Duplechan of Memphis TN, Lucretia (Allen) Achane and Shimirra Boudreaux all of Jennings, LA Two brothers Devin (Trina) Boudreaux of Jennings, LA and Joe Boudreaux of Beaumont, TX Her grandchildren Javierre (De'Angela) Rideaux, Dezanek Rideaux, Xaiverre Rideaux, Chandler Rideaux, Amiah Stephens, Amari Rideaux, Aubrieh Rideaux, Autumn Rideaux, and Austin Rideaux all of Houston TX. A host of great grandchildren, cousins, aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews.

Barbara is proceeded in death by her parents Hesterine White and Edward Nixon; her brother Johnny (Barbara) Lazard.
