Sister Barbara Ann Wright, 63, a long-time resident of Jennings, LA entered into eternal rest on Friday, October 6, 2023, in Lake Charles, LA.  She was born on September 10, 1960, to Anna Mae Davis-Wright and Earl Wright.  Barabara accepted Christ as her Lord and Savior at an early age and was a devoted member of Mt. Triumph Baptist Church in Jennings, LA., pastored by Reverend C. James Fontenot.  Barbara worked for Burger King in Jennings, LA as a Manager.

Barbara leaves to cherish her memories, her partner, Darl Watson Sr; her children, Tangela (Corey) Wilson and Darl "DJ" (Kaydell) Wright, Jr; her siblings, Rogers Davis, Velma (Lynn) Jenkins, Earl (Glenda) Wright Jr., Tammy Allen, Michael (Valencia) Polk, and Dalphney (Patrick) Black; her grandchildren, Terance Matthews, Darlnajah Wright, and Jazion Moore; a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

Barbara was preceded in death by her parents, Earl "Crack" Wright Sr. and Anna Mae Davis-Wright; her paternal grandparents, Leonard and Hattie Wright, maternal grandparents, Willie and Anna "Gram" Davis.
