Mrs. Betty Sue White, 62 Mrs White entered into eternal rest Thursday June 26 in a Lafayette hospital. She was a member of Whites Temple COGIC. She leaves to cherish her memories, her husband, Alfred Lee White of Jennings, two daughters; Anna(Tracy) Pickett and Yolanda Henry of Jennings, four sons; Alfred (Tonya) White, Timothy (Trulena) White, of Houston, TX., Devon (Trena) White and Tonney (Stacy) White all of Jennings.; Six Brothers, Wayne Wilridge, of Carencre La., Edward Nixon, Joe(Laura) Nixon,Bradson Lehman, and Lee Allison Bias, all of Jennings and Frank Lehman, of Kinder; six sisters, Willie Bell George of Lake Charles, Odile (Oris) Williams of Abberville, LA., Mathilda Whiting of Beaumont, TX., Cecelia (Freddie) Byers and Beatrice (Alfred) Zackery both of Jennings; four step-daughters, Joyce Edwards of Jennings, Donetta Coleman of Lake Charles, Yokeisha Coleman, of San Francisco, CA., and Shantell Hogan of New Iberia; one stepson, Kevin (Cozette) Stewart, of Jennings and 21 grandchildren and 8 great grandchildren. Funeral service for Mrs. Betty Sue White, 62 will be at 11 a.m. Saturday, July 5, 2014 in David J. & Rosa W. Fondel Church Chapel at Semien-Lewis Mortuary with Reverend Irving Mouton, pastor of Whites Temple officiating. Burial will be in Parkview Cemetery under the direction of Semien-Lewis Mortuary of Jennings. Visitation will be from 8 to 11 a.m. Saturday in the chapel.
