Beulah Louise Evans, 72, passed away at her residence on Monday, August 3, 2020.  She was born in Los Angeles, California on August 17, 1947, to the late Elva Mae Alexander and Morris Evans.  Beulah was a graduate of McNeese State University and was a retired Rehabilitation Counselor with a Women's Shelter in Calcasieu Parish and currently was the Pastor of New Hope Christian Methodist Episcopal Church in Deridder, LA.  She also served with the Lake Charles Police Department in the Pastors on Patrol Program and provided spiritual inspiration through the Prison Ministry for the Calcasieu Parish Correctional Prison and the Federal Corrections Institute in Oakdale, LA.

Beulah is survived by her three children, Karen Dapremont and Astacia Evans Johnson of Charlotte, NC, and Ernest Dapremont III of Houston, TX; her grandchildren, Tiera Vincent, Bethany Dapremont, Demetrius Dapremont, Richard J. Fontenette Jr (Alicia), De Naecia Simmons (Jacob), Vaniecia Johnson, Ernest J. Dapremont IV, Erykah Dapremont, Denyeil Dapremont, Xavier Johnson,  and Elijah Dapremont; 12 great-grandchildren, 4 sisters, 5 brothers, and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.

Beulah was preceded in death by one daughter, Deborah Dapremont; her sister, Carol Evans; her mother, Elva Evans; father, Morris Evans.
