Blake D'Quon Simien, Sr., 25, was a native and resident of Lake Charles, Louisiana.  Blake departed this life on Wednesday, January 8, 2020, at Lake Charles Memorial Hospital.  He was born on June 1, 1994, in Lake Charles, LA.  Blake was a member of Greater St. Mary Missionary Baptist Church, pastored by Reverend Dr. Samuel C. Tolbert, Jr.  Blake was a 2012 graduate of LaGrange High School where he was a member of the football team.  He was a former Cook at the Fiery Crab in Lake Charles, LA.

Blake is survived by his mother, Sakeithsha (Phillip, Jr.) Fruge' of Lake Charles; father, Alphonse Williams, Jr. of Baton Rouge, LA; twin children, Blake Jr., & Brylee Simien; maternal grandmother, Erica Simien of Lake Charles; Maternal Grandfather, Norman Williams; paternal grandmother, Shirley Alexander of Baton Rouge; paternal grandfather, Alphonse Williams, Sr. of Baton Rouge, LA; maternal great-grandmother, Martha Lee Harrison; step-grandparents, Mr. & Mrs. Phillip Fruge' Sr; siblings, Jayla Fruge' of Ft. Worth, TX., Phillip Fruge' III & Amyra Arvie both of Lake Charles, LA., Jerica & Corey Burge, Alphonse Williams, III all of Baton Rouge, LA., Jordan & Jaden Bellard of Atlanta, GA; God-Parents, Louis (Odelia) Sweet, Franklin D. Lewis, Sr., and Danielle Simien-Charles all of Lake Charles, LA.

Blake was preceded in death by his paternal grandmother, Rosella Guy Williams; paternal grandfather, Percy Woods; paternal great-grandparents, Rayford & Polly Williams; maternal great-grandparents, Charles & Hilda Williams; Maternal great-grandfather, Martin "Bubby" Simien.

Celebration of Life services for Blake will be held at 11:00 am on Saturday, January 18, 2020, at Greater St. Mary Missionary Baptist Church, 1801 2nd Ave, Lake Charles, LA 70601 with Rev. Dr. Samuel C. Tolbert, Jr. Officiating.  Visiting will be in the church from 9:00 am until the time of celebration services.  Interment will be in Combre Memorial Park Cemetery in Lake Charles, LA., under the direction of Semien-Lewis Mortuary of Jennings.
