Byron "Chad" Jones was born on August 23, 1973, to Patsy Ann Jones Mczeal.  He was the first of two sons.  He entered into eternal rest on Thursday, September 5, 2024.

Byron was preceded in death by his mother, Patsy Ann Jones Mczeal; grandfather, Dallas Jones; grandmother, Marjorie Jones; daughter, Alyssa Campbell.

Those left to cherish his memories are his brother, Wayne Nelson Jones of Lake Charles, LA; his niece, Ambria Jones; his aunts, Regina Clark, Catherine Williams and Dinie Montgomery of Lake Charles, LA and Maydell Jones of Lake Arthur, LA; his cousins, Joseph Huntsberry, and his 3 children, of Pflugerville, TX, Bardale and Melinda Jones and their 6 children of Lake Arthur, LA, Damon and Shawn Jones and their 3 children of Beaumont, TX, Chris and Ashley Williams and their 6 children of Lake Charles, LA, Cordale and Leah Williams and his child of Lake Charles, LA, Marshall Huntsberry of Lake Charles, LA, Stanley and Ayanna Coleman II of Lake Charles, LA, Dexter and Destiny Montgomery of Lake Charles, LA and Dallas Montgomery and Kayla Montgomery and their one child of Lamarque, TX); special best friend, Maranda Dyson.

Celebration of Life Services will be held on Saturday, September 14, 2024, at 11:00 a.m. at First Baptist Church, 714 Third Street in Lake Arthur, LA.  Visiting with family and friends will be in the church from 9:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m.  Burial will be in the Antioch Baptist Church Cemetery in Lake Arthur, LA under the direction of Semien-Lewis Mortuary of Jennings, LA.
