Ms. Carol Ann Simien, 75, a resident of Lake Charles, LA., entered into eternal rest on Friday, November 30, 2018 at Resthaven Nursing and Rehabilitation Center. She was born on February 5, 1943 to Herman & Lillie Belle Simien.
Carol leaves to cherish her memories, one brother, Elvin (Sandra) Simien, Sr. of New Orleans, LA; one sister, Kimberly Ann Orphey of Lake Charles, LA; a Goddaughter, Faith Singleton of Forth Worth, TX; a close cousin, Jacqueline Mathews of Lake Charles, LA; niece, Danielle Simien-Charles; a special great-niece Irony Senegal of Moss Bluff, LA; a host of nieces, nephews, cousins & friends.
Carol was preceded in death by her parents, Herman & Lillie Belle Simien; sisters, Thelma Gail Rougeau, Lillie Marie Taylor, Mary Ann Simien and Shirley Lee Carrier; brothers, Joseph "JV" Simien and Martin "Bubby" Simien.
A Memorial Service will be held at 10:00 a.m. Saturday, December 8, 2018 in Unity Baptist Church, 1401 Pine Street, Lake Charles, LA. Reverend A. B. Lartigue will officiate.
