Cedric "Black" Anderson, Sr., was called home to be with his Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.  Cedric was born on December 27, 1963, in Oak Grove, LA to the union of John Anderson, Sr. of Winnsboro, LA and Ellen Freeman of Oak Grove, LA.  "Black" was a dedicated Cement Finisher for many years.  he was a devoted, loving father, brother, uncle, grandfather, godfather, cousin, and friend.

Cedric was preceded in his departure by his mother Ellen Freeman; father, John Anderson, Sr; son, Jason Anderson; sisters, Eloise and Gloria; brother, Mark.

Cedric is survived by his daughters, Akika Miller and Heaven Butler (Moonie); sons, Cedric Achane Anderson, Jr. and Torri Achane; sisters, Bettie Anderson, Tammie Anderson, Bessie Hodges, and Blanche Henderson; brothers, John Anderson, Antonio Anderson, Willie Dale Anderson, Sam Anderson, Chris Freeman, Troy and Peter; grandchildren, Dayonne Williams, Kearyck Achane, Jarvis Pierre, Jr., Norman Achane, Erica Eason, Norjayha Achane, and Kierra Barry; great-grandchildren, Averie Carter, Kayvah Achane, Draven Gray, and Lemaiya Williams; godchild, Trystanae Mitchell; son-in-law, Romonde Miller, Sr; daughter-in-law, Jadynn Batey; a host of nieces, nephews, family, and friends.

A drive-thru/walk-thru visitation will be held from 12:00 noon to 2:00 pm on Saturday, May 30, 2020, at Semien-Lewis Mortuary, 819 N. State Street, Jennings, LA.
