Chance Devon Stewart, 33, a native of Jennings, Louisiana passed away on Thursday, October 4, 2018 in Houston, Texas.  Chance was born on December 20, 1984 and was a member of Our Lady of Perpetual Help Catholic Church in Jennings, pastored by Father Jude Fernando, TOR.  He was employed as a Heavy Equipment Operator with MVP Level.

Chance is survived by his children, Chance Devon Levi, Cadence D'veon Stewart, Chance Devon Stewart Jr., & Joseline Ann Denis; brothers, Jack Stewart III, Alessandro Lindsay, Kenneth Briggs Jr., Tremain Stewart, Kenneth Briggs, & Melvin Workman; sisters, Printess Richard, Bernadette Colman & Belinda McWhortar; parents, Patricia Manuel & Jack Stewart Jr.

Chance was preceded in death by his grandmothers, Johnnie Briggs, Tweety Stewart & Marion Jenkins; grandfather, Jack Stewart.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11:00 am on Saturday, October 13, 2018 at Our Lake of Perpetual Help Catholic Church, 920 S. Broadway Street, Jennings, LA with Father Jude Fernando, TOR officiating.  Visiting will be in the church at 8:00 am until the time of Mass.  Burial will follow in Our Lady of Perpetual Help Catholic Cemetery under the direction of Semien-Lewis Mortuary of Jennings, LA.
