Christopher Paul Dicks, 45 Christopher P. Dicks departed this life on January 12, 2012 at Extended Care of Southwest Louisiana in Lake Charles, LA. Christopher was a born in Lafayette, LA on May 26, 1966 to his loving parents, Lawrence and Ella Dicks. He was a member of Immaculate Heart of Mary Catholic Church in Lake Charles, LA., pastored by Reverend Marcus Johnson. Christopher attended Marion High School and was self-employed as a Horse Trainer Whisperer. He loved animals and working on motors. He leaves to cherish his memory, his mother, Ella Mae Dicks; six brothers, Patrick Dix, Stanley J., Steve, Lawrence Jr., Jimmy, and Floyd Dicks; three sisters, Helen Rougeau, Freda Dicks, and Priscilla Hursey and a host of neices, nephews, relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by his father, Lawrence Dicks Sr., maternal grandparents, Lee & Amay Celestine; and paternal grandparents, Henry Dicks & Irene Rideaux. Funeral services are scheduled for Saturday, January 21st at 10 AM at Immaculate Heart of Mary Catholic Church with Rev. Marcus Johnson officiating. Burial will follow at Combre Memorial Park under the direction of Semien-Lewis Mortuary.
