Mr. Clarence Brown, 88 Mr. Clarence Brown entered into eternal rest May 22, 2012 in the Jennings American Legion Hospital. He was a native of Thronwell, LA and a resident of Lake Arthur, LA. Clarence was a member of the Antioch Baptist Church in Lake Arthur, LA., pastored by Reverend Henry Comeaux. Mr. Brown served in the United States Army and he received an Honorable Discharge. Mr. Brown in survived by two daughters; Linda (Charles) Stringer, Milwaukee,WI., Peggy Drake, Welsh, LA. and one son; Dan Lee Brown, Lake Arthur, LA., 11 grandchildren and 29 great-grandchildren. Funeral services for Mr. Brown will be at 1:00 P.M. Saturday, May 26, 2012 in Antioch Baptist Church in Lake Arthur, LA. with Rev. Henry Comeaux, Pastor officiating. Burial will be in the Church Cemetery under the direction of Semien-Lewis Mortuary of Jennings. Visitation will be from 9 A.M. Saturday at the Church until time of funeral services. The American Legion Post of Jennings will render Honor Rites at the Church. Military rites will be accorded at the cemetery by the Military Honor's Detail Squad from U.S. Army, at Fort Polk, LA.
