Cyrus D. Duncan, 49, affectionately known as "CD" passed away on Saturday, August 17, 2024, in Charleston, South Carolina.  "CD" was born on January 20, 1975, to the late Gwendolyn Daniel Duncan and Benny F. Duncan.  "CD" was baptized at an early age, accepting Christ as his Lord and Savior.

"CD" is survived by his children, Ebony Davis, Jenna Mallett, Creighton Duncan, and Genecia Ryder; his brothers, Wiltz Duncan, Byron Duncan, Billy Frank, Tony Etienne, and Anthony Coulter; his sisters, Dominique Jones, Luwanna Duncan, Cherise Johnson, Brittany McDonald, and Whitney Duncan; a host of other relatives and friends.

"CD" was preceded in death by his mother, Gwendolyn D. Duncan; his father, Benny F. Duncan; his brother, Yohance Duncan; his maternal and paternal grandparents.

Celebration of Life Services will be held at 12:00 pm on Saturday, September 7, 2024, at First Baptist Church, 714 3rd Street in Lake Arthur, Louisiana.  Pastor Jared Thomas will officiate.  Visiting with family and friends will be in the church from 10:00 am until the time of celebration services.  Burial will follow in Lakeview Cemetery in Lake Arthur, Louisiana under the direction of Semien-Lewis Mortuary of Jennings, LA.
