Dallas Raymond "Boog" Simon entered this world on September 21, 1989, born to Cassandra Sonnier and Stephon Simon in Lake Charles, LA. Baton Rouge, Louisiana, became his home for the majority of his life. A dedicated father, son, brother, nephew, and friend, Dallas was loved by many and, but God loved him best His journey on earth came to an end on April 2, 2024.

Having recently earned his High School Equivalency Diploma and a CDL license through alternative educational paths, Dallas embodied the spirit of an entrepreneur, founding Simon Says Go Trucking, LLC. He was often found engaging in discussions about business ideas and strategies, aiming to create a lasting legacy for his family. Known for his compassion, loyalty, and unwavering friendship, Dallas was the epitome of a true friend, supporting others with both his words and actions. If he said it, it was done.

His passing is deeply felt by his mother, Cassandra (Domingo) Ramos of Baton Rouge, LA, and his father, Stephon Simon of Welsh, LA, who hold his memory dear. His legacy lives on through his beloved children: Dallas Simon Jr., Demi Cain, and Christopher Brown, with their mother Brittany Cain of Baton Rouge, LA; Kaylee and Kylee Freeman, with their mother Leterrica Freeman of Brusly, LA; Emberlyn Simon, Landon Simon, London Simon, and Elijah Berry, with their mother and his significant other, Eshonna Volair of Houston, TX. Dallas is also survived by his siblings Stephon Sonnier, Jamond Rougeau of Baton Rouge, LA; Kylin Hill of Welsh, LA; Salisa Drake of Lake Charles, LA; Angel Caleb, and Ja'Len Simon all of Houston, TX; and his stepsiblings Samuel, Nicole, Jose, Abigail, and Elena Ramos of Baton Rouge, LA. His life was further enriched by his sisters and brothers in love, Darica Simon Baptiste (Jermaine) of Baton Rouge, James (Jay) Savoy of Baton Rouge, Mike Wallace of New Orleans, LA, Troy Pattum of Welsh, LA, and Joel (Alonda) Johnson and "TWO"Johnson Jr. of Houston, TX. His aunts and uncles include Beverly Ann Savoy, James aka Pops (Janet) Savoy, Michael (Shelia) Savoy, Nedra aka his paralegal  (Daniel) Hill,  His favorite aunt and uncle Latoya (Bryan) Lewis of Baton Rouge, LA; Raven Guillory of Lake Charles, LA; Desiree Guillory and Nakia Guillory of Jennings, LA; Calvin (Sonja) Thorne of Hitchcock, TX; Brenella Simon of Welsh, LA; Kim (Terry) Vital of Huntsville, AL; James (Jennifer) Simon, Craig (Lucille) Simon, and Nicole Simon of Lake Charles, LA. His godparents, Nordell Reed, Craig Simon, and Arthur Vickers, along with his god-siblings Kemond Dennis, Emmanuel Lowery, Niyah Savoy, and Keira White, will also hold his memory in their hearts. A multitude of nieces, nephews, great-aunts, great-uncles, cousins, and friends who adored him are left to cherish his memory.

Preceding him in death were his grandparents Clara Bell Sonnier Guillory, Robert Prudhomme, Doris and Clarence "Lou" Simon., his Godbrother Adrian Cahee, and his best friend Arnold McCray.

Celebration of Life Services will be held at 11am on Saturday, April 13, 2024, at Semien-Lewis Mortuary, 819 N. State Street in Jennings, LA.  Visiting with family and friends is from 9am until the time of Celebration Services.  Burial will follow in Oaklawn Cemetery, 501 Beaufort Street
in Welsh, LA under the direction of Semien-Lewis Mortuary.
