Dalton Sinegal, Sr., 79, entered into eternal rest at The Heart Hospital of Lafayette on January 18, 2020, with his loving family by his side. Dalton was a native and resident of Jennings, LA. He was born on September 4, 1940, to the late Joseph Douglas Sinegal and Anna Willie Mae Sinegal. For 34-years, he was a devoted husband to Geneva Sinegal, and father to Dalton Sinegal Jr, Jamal Sinegal (Margaret), Sonja Lemelle (Bruce), Dawn Davis (Tim), Arthur Ethridge, Sabrina Drake, and Emile Jones.

Dalton retired from the oil industries in Lake Charles, and later retired from the City of Jennings Recreation Department. He enjoyed fishing, hunting, and collecting guns & knives.

Dalton also leaves to mourn his passing, a host of grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends that loved and cherish his precious memories.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Dalton and Anna Sinegal; sister Gloria Mae Sinegal Jones (Putt); 3 Grandsons Dylan, Tyran and Nacody.

Celebration of Life Services for Dalton, will be held at 9:00 am, on Saturday, January 25, 2020, at Our Lady Perpetual Help Catholic Church in Jennings, LA. Reverend Jude Fernando will officiate. Viewing will be in the church from 7am until the time of the Celebration Services.
