Darrell Lynn Zeno, Sr., 63, a life-long resident of Welsh, LA., passed away peacefully on Sunday, January 7, 2024, in Plaquemine, LA.  Darrell was born on July 18, 1960, in Welsh, LA to the late Harry Zeno Jr., & Beatrice Riggs Zeno.  He accepted Christ as his Lord and Savior at an early age and was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church in Welsh, LA., pastored by Reverend Dr. Mathew Panackal.  Darrell was the youngest of eleven siblings.  He attended Welsh High School and later was employed through Local 207 Union and retired from Turner Industries after 30 plus years as a supervisor, when his health began to fail.  Darrell married the love of his life, Debbie Prudhomme Zeno.  Darrell enjoyed "D Jing" for family funtions and spending time with his beloved grandchildren.

Darrell was preceded in death by his parents, Harry & Beatrice Zeno; his siblings, breatrice Gray, Mildred Jenkins, Gene, Joe, & Gerald Zeno; his granddaughter, DaLaiyah Zeno.

Cherishing his memories are his wife, Debbie; his children, Darrell Zeno, Jr., Demesha Zeno, and Demeka Zeno, all of Welsh, LA., Denika (Tyler) Savoy of Lafayette, and A'Shonte Thomas of Lake Charles, LA; his siblings, Geneva Scott of Westlake, LA., James (Mary) Zeno of Port Arthur, TX., Harriet Ann Bias, Jennifer Dartez, and Janet Jones, all of Welsh, LA; fifteen grandchildren, two godchildren, Jemetrius Zeno and Ronesha Thibodeaux; A host of neices, nephews, cousins, friends, and a host of sisters-in-law and brothers-in-law.
