David Lartrell Daniel, 26, a native and resident of Jennings, LA  passed on Saturday, February 14, 2026, at a local hospital.  David was born on July 31, 1999 in Jennings, LA to Sharon Capdeville-Daniel and Larry Daniel.  David was a 2017 graduate of Jennings High School where he was a member of the Football and Baseball Teams.  David loved riding horses, rodeoing, hanging out with his family and friends.  He was employed by Delta Utilities as a Construction Technician.  David was married to Payton Renee Rozas-Daniel.  He was loved by his family and friends and will be missed dearly.

David leaves to cherish is fond memories, his beloved wife, Payton Renee Daniel of Jennings, LA; his children, Cambri Daniel, Zayden Daniel, and Lennox Daniel; his parents Sharon and Larry Daniel of Jennings, LA; his siblings, Larry (Ellis) Daniel, Katina Jenkins, Anastasia Tyler, Dedra (Stanley) Alexander, Gary Hill, Lareaka Daniel, Vishindra Jones, and Brandy Alexander; a host of nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins, other family and friends.

Daniel was preceded in death by one brother, Carious Daniel; his maternal grandparents, Avery Capdeville and Mary Arceneaux-Capdeville; his paternal grandparents, Fannie Daniel and Robert Lee; his aunt Donna Higginbotham.

A visitation with family and friends will be held Sunday, February 22, 2026, from 12:00 pm - 2:00 pm in the Church Chapel at Semien-Lewis Mortuary, 819 N. State Street in Jennings, LA.
