Dawn Daryl Perossier, 44, a life-long resident of Mermentau, Louisiana passed away at her home on Sunday, May 25, 2025, with her mother and caregiver, Vikki Crochet by her side. Dawn was born on July 2, 1980 to Pamela Perossier.  She was a devoted member of Little Sunlight Baptist Church, pastored by Reverend Craig Sams. Dawn loved all of her church family and was a people person, who met friends everywhere she went and everyone loved her. She graduated from Crowley High with her aid, Ms. Gail.

Dawn leaves to cherish her fond memories, her mother, Pamela Perossier; sister, Daniella Perossier; three aunts, Tammy Perossier, Terry Perossier and Phyllis Granger; one uncle, Gerald Perossier; two nieces, Deion and Denise; three nephews, Devin, DeAndre and DeShawn; a host of other relatives and friends.

Dawn was preceded in death by her maternal grandparents, Alcide and Margie Perossier; two uncles, Alcide Jr. and Darrel; one nephew, Derrick Berry; two cousins, Kandace Perossier-Carrell and Austin Granger.

Celebration of Life Services will be held on Saturday, June 7, 2025, at 11:00am in the Church Chapel at Semien-Lewis Mortuary in Jennings, LA.  Reverend Craig Sams, Pastor of Little Sunlight Baptist Church will officiate.  Visiting with family and friends will be in the Chapel from 9am until the time of Celebration Services.
