Deborah Ann Barker, age 61, passed away peacefully at Landmark of Lake Charles.  She was a native of Lake Charles, Louisiana. Deborah worked at Conoco Phillips as a security officer for a number of years. She graduated from Marion High School in 1975. Deborah loved to cook and entertain family and friends. She was a loving and caring person, and loved the Lord. She was a long time member of Woodbury Congregational Church of Christ.

Survivors include her daughter, Ms. Letisha Evette Barker; one son, Julian Paul (Anita) Barker both of Lake Charles, LA; three grandchildren, Tianna Richmond, Treasure Carter, and Caleb Barker and a number of nieces and nephews. Four sisters, Serina Declouiet, Charlesetta (Mark) Simien, Catrece (Jerry) Simien, Patricia Celestine, two brothers, Chad (Dianna) Williams, and Henry (Allison) Williams Jr. all of Lake Charles, LA.

Funeral services will be held at  11:00 A.M. Saturday , July 22, 2017, at Woodbury Congregational Church of Christ located at 417 N. Prater Street. Rev. Larry Tutson will officiate.  Visitation is from 9:00 A.M. Saturday in the Church. Burial will be in Sacred Heart Cemetery under direction of Semien-Lewis Mortuary.
