Ms. Debra Angela Gordon-Goodman, 62, a native and life-long resident of Jennings, LA. passed on Friday, February 17, 2023, at Ochsner Lafayette General Hospital.  Debra was born on March 6, 1960, to the late, John Stafford Gordon and Edolia Richard-Gordon.  Debra was baptized at an early age and was a member of Immanuel Worship Center in Jennings, LA. pastored by Pastor Terry Lee.  Debra was a graduate of Jennings High School and later attend Delta Technical Institute an received a Certificate in Business Administration.  Debra was formerly employed as a Dietician at a local Nursing Home.

Debra leaves to cherish her memories, one daughter, Mahogany Gordon; one son, Marquel Gordon Sr; one brother, Marcus Brady Gordon; two sisters, Shelia Gordon Mouton and Sade Sinegal; seven grandchildren, D'Shaunta Layah Bowser, Trystanae Mitchell, Trystanee Mitchell, Trysta Lhonn' Mitchell, Marquel Gordon Jr., Za'Kyricc Gordon, and Za'Launtae Gordon; three great-grandchildren, Demii Pete, Den 'Veii Pete, and Den'Leii Pete; a host of other relatives and friends.

Debra was preceded in death by her parents, John Stafford & Edolia Gordon; her husband, Floyd Goodman; one daughter, Tiffany Gordon; one brother, Carliss Wayne Gordon; one grandchild, Ka'Launtae Gordon.

Celebration of Life Services will be held at 1 pm Saturday, March 4, 2023, at Immanual Worship Center, 8074 LA-26, Jennings, LA 70546.  Pastor Terry J. Lee will officiate.  Visiting will be in the church from 11 am until the time of celebration services.  Burial will follow in Peterson Memorial Cemetery under the direction of Semien-Lewis Mortuary of Jennings, LA.
