Dedrick Demon Gant, 40, passed away on Sunday, October 30, 2016. Gant was a native of Jennings, LA. He was born on February 21, 1976 to Melvin Boxie and the late Carla D. Gant. Gant was a certified welder with Lee Vac Industries Shipyard.
A memorial service is scheduled for 11:00 AM Saturday, December 3, 2016 at Love of Christ Ministries, 615 W. Division Street, in Jennings, LA., with Minister Betty Etienne, Officiating.
Gant is survived by his father, Melvin Boxie, one daughter, Britney Bouley, two sons, Dezrick Mcdowell and Derrick Flemming. One brother, Melvin L. Gant, one sister, Ruby Lennet Gant, two grandkids, Da'Coby Bouley and Kesleigh Savoy.
He was preceded in death by his mother, Carla D. Gant, and brother, Trey Gant.
