Delta Roy Joseph, 61, died on November 10, 2014 at Ben Taub Hospital in Houston, TX. Delta was a resident of Houston, Texas and a native of Jennings, LA. He was born on March 3, 1953 to Pearly Joseph and Phillip Wilridge. He was a member of Open Door Community Church in Pearland, Texas, pastored by Pastor Felton R. Joseph. Delta is survived by three sons, Delta R. Joseph Jr., Jerelle Joseph, both of Houston, TX., and Andre Taylor of Jennings, LA; Special friend, Belinda Darlington of Houston, TX; two brothers, Rev. Felton Ray (Jackie) Joseph of Houston, TX. and Ralph Wilridge of Lake Charles, LA; six sisters, Betty (Arthur) Eittienne, Bonnie Cahee both of Jennings, LA., Lilie Charles,Rozella McZeal both of Lake Arthur, LA., Lee Ester (Kenneth) Porter of Houston, TX., Glacie Green of Lake Charles, LA., Ella (Jeffrey) Sinegal of Scott, LA., and Agnes Jones of Rayne, LA; three grandchildren; a host of nieces, nephews, uncles and aunts. He was preceded in death by one son, David White; both parents, Pearly Joseph and Phillip Wilridge; two sisters, Willie Mae Scott and Cecelia Jones. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 am on Saturday, November 22, 2014 in the Rosa W. and David J. Fondel Sr. Memorial Church Chapel at Semien-Lewis Mortuary in Jennings, LA. Visitation will be held from 9:00 am until the time of funeral in the Church Chapel. Burial will be in Benevolent Cemetery in Jennings, LA., under the direction of Semien-Lewis Mortuary of Jennings, LA.
