Devon Bernard White, 47, passed away on Tuesday, March 21, 2023, at Ochsner American Legion Hospital in Jennings, LA.  Devon was born on February 12, 1976, in Jennings, LA.  Devon accepted Christ at an early age and was a member of Whites Temple Church in Jennings, LA.  Devon loved spending time with family and friends.  He enjoyed fishing, raising chickens & dogs, and barbequing.  Devon always met you with a smile and was kind to everyone he met.

Devon leaves to cherish his memories, his wife DaShawn White; his father, Alfred Lee White, Sr; his daughters, Vanessa (Trevis) Rigmaiden of Jennings, LA., Shakika White of Jennings, LA., Javonte White of Woodville, TX, Jaylon White of Lake Charles, LA., Jainie White of Lake Charles, LA., Jaishawn Smither of Jennings, LA., Da'Maya Smither of Jennings, LA; his sisters, Anna (Tracy) Pickett of Jennings, LA., Joyce Edwards of Westlake, LA., Yolanda White of Houston, TX., Lucy Brackens of Jennings, LA., Donetta Coleman of San Francisco, CA., Yevetta Stansberry of Carencro, LA., Ann Stansberry of Chicago, IL., Yoshika Coleman, Rosevette Pickens, and Ashley Guillory all of San Francisco, CA; his brothers, Alfred (Tonya) White of Jennings, LA., Timothy (Tralena) White of Baytown, TX., Tony White of Jennings, LA., and Lil Paul of San Francisco, CA; his grandkids, Trevon Gallow, Talen Gallow, TySun Gallow, and Kayden White.

Devon was preceded in death by his mother, Betty Sue White; his paternal grandparents, Anna Mae White and Earnest White; his maternal grandparents, Edna Bias and Oneal Wilridge; his aunt, Lutha Shelvin; his uncle, London White.

Celebration of Life Services will be held at 11 am on Saturday, April 1, 2023 in the Church Chapel at Semien-Lewis Mortuary, 819 N. State Street in Jennings, LA.  Visitation will be from 9 am to 11 am in the Church Chapel.  Burial will be in Parkview Cemetery in Jennings, LA under the direction of Semien-Lewis Mortuary of Jennings, LA.
