Donna Gay Nash, 49 died in her residence on Saturday, November 2, 2013 in Jennings, LA. Donna was born in Flagstaff, AZ., to her parents, Carlton Johns, Sr., and Corene Johns. She was a member of St. Paul Baptist Church, pastored by Rev. Pernell Trent Sr. Donna was a member of the church choir and loved singing a praising God. She was employed with Walmart Corporation as a Loss Prevention Supervisor. Donna leaves to cherish her memories, two daughters, Danielle Corene Nash of Spring, TX., and Danikka J'Na Nash of Jennings, LA; three brothers, Carlton (Debbie Ann) Johns Jr., Danna Johns, and Demetrius Johns, all of Flagstaff, AZ; seven sisters, Latonya Haley Espree of Houston, TX., Cecile Wright, Carmen Runnels, Debbie Ann Joyce, Dottie Ann Mullen, Crystal Brooks, and Janice Alexander, all of Flagstaff, AZ; two fathers, Carlton Johns, Sr. of Flagstaff, AZ., and James D. Haley of Jennings, LA; mother, Ruby Mae Haley of Jennings, LA. She was preceded in death by her birth mother, Corene Johns. Funeral services will be at 11:00 am on Saturday, November 9, 2013 at St. Paul Baptist Church in Jennings, LA., with Pastor Pernell Trent Sr. officiating. Visitation will be in the church from 8:00 am until the time of the funeral. Interment will be in the Parkview Cemetery under the direction of Semien-Lewis Mortuary of Jennings, LA.
