Mrs. Edna Harmon Robinson, 86, transitioned from earthly labor on Tuesday, March 31, 2026, at a local hospital in Crowley, LA.  Edna was born in Branch, Louisiana, to the late Woodrow Harmon Sr. and Alzina Minix Harmon.  She accepted Jesus Christ as her Lord and Savior and was baptized at an early age.  She was a faithful member of Ambassador Ministries - Greater Mt. Zion Baptist Church, pastored by Reverend Marcal Poullard.  Upon completing her primary and secondary education, Edna went on to earn a post-secondary degree as a Licensed Practical Nurse.  Edna was married to the late Rogers Rose Robinson, and together they were blessed to raise their fifteen children.  She was formerly employed as an LPN for many years until her retirement from Ochsner American Legion Hospital in Crowley, now renamed Ochsner Acadia General Hospital.  She also worked as a Life Insurance Agent for many years in the Crowley area.  Edna assumed the role of Caretaker of the West Crowley Cemetery for many years after her husband's health failed until she was no longer able to do so.

Edna was preceded in death by her husband, Rogers Rose Robinson; two sons, Ralph Robinson and Byron Robinson; one daughter, Virginia Robinson Orebo; her parents, Woodrow & Alzina Harmon; two brothers, Woodrow Harmon Jr. and Frank Harmon; and one sister, Elma Jean Harmon.

Edna is survived by her loving children, Nakia Robinson of New Iberia, LA, Ollie (Dennis) Lott of San Antonio, TX, Joseph (Riley) Robinson-Jackson of Aubrey, TX, Norma (Sherman) Robinson-Wilson of San Antonio, TX, Lydwina (Danny) Robinson-Holliman of Saldo, TX, Alicia (Reginald) Coles of Shreveport, LA, Chief Apostle Mark Robinson Sr. of Houston, TX, CarLisa (Wilson) Robinson-Minix of Dallas, TX, Roslyn (David) Robinson-Harper of Atlanta, GA, Roger Glenn (Renee) Robinson of Crowley, LA, Bishop Keith (Winnifred) Robinson of Benton, LA, and Catherine Segura of Tallahassee, FL; and a host of grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

Celebration of Life Services will be held at 11:00 am Friday, April 3, 2026, at Ambassador Ministries - Greater Mt. Zion Baptist Church, 19937 Highway 90 in Crowley, LA 70526.  Her sons, Bishop Keith Robinson and Chief Apostle Mark Robinson will co-officiate.  A visitation will be held in the church from 9:00 am until 10:45 am.  Interment will follow in the West Crowley Cemetery under the direction of Semien-Lewis Mortuary of Jennings, LA.
