Ella Marie Savoie, 74, entered into eternal rest at her residence on Tuesday, December 19, 2023, with her family by her side.  Ella was born on May 31, 1949, to the late Nace Savoie and Ida Marie Eaglin Savoie in Lafayette, LA.  She was educated in the Jefferson Davis Parish School System and she accepted Christ as her Lord and Savior at an early age.  Ella enlisted in the United States Army and served two years, eleven months, and 29 days and received an Honorable Discharge.  Ella was employed earlier in life as a Loan Officer in San Fernando Valley, California and upon returning home to Jennings, LA., she was employed by Wal Mart Corporation as a Manager.

Ella is survived by her siblings, Paul Savoy of Houston, TX., James Savoie Sr. of Jennings, LA., and Rose Savoy of Jennings, LA; her nephews, Tyler Savoy, James Savoie Jr., Leon Paul Savoy, Sterling Savoy, and Claymond Savoy; her nieces, Giovanni Brewer, Tysha Billingslea, Bashawn Nicole Wilridge, and Consuella Briggs; a host of other relatives and friends.
