Elliott Brecher (El Dog) Withers was born on January 12, 1967, in San Jose, 321California. He was born to Werner Withers Carr and the late James Jerry Abraham.  Elliott was adopted by his grandparents the late Dr. Rev. Harry Withers, Sr., and Jestine O'Brien Withers, and his name changed to Elliott Brecher Withers. He accepted Christ at an early age and was baptized by the late Rev. G. C. Chaney.

Elliott entered into eternal rest on February 12, 2022.  He was proceeded in death by his son, Durrell Elliott Woods; his father, James Jerry Abraham; grandparents Dr. Rev. Harry and Jestine Withers, Bradley, and Lena Abraham; two brothers, Davy Justin Carr and Gerald Keith; one sister, Sholonda Guidry.

Left to cherish his memory are his children Alishica Williams of Houston, Texas and Brennan Levi of Jennings, Louisiana; parents, Werner and Davy Carr; sisters, Courtney Baker (Myron), Sharone Johnson, Elizabeth Edwards; brother, David Carr; Uncles, Harry Withers, Jr (Marlene), Donovan Withers, Jr., Nelson Withers; Aunts, Williemae Alexander, Savanna Miller, Joyce Alexander; Close friend, Derrick Mitchell and a host of nieces, nephews, family members, extended family members and friends who will cherish his memory.

Celebration of Life Services will be held at 10:30 am Saturday, February 26, 2022, in the Church Chapel at Semien-Lewis Mortuary, 819 N. State Street in Jennings, LA.  Reverend Gerald W. Perkins, Sr. will officiate.  Visiting will be in the chapel from 8:00 am to 10:30 am.
