Evangelist Enola "Reed" Stevens, 76, a native of Grand Prairie, LA and resident of Lake Charles, LA.
departed her earthly home
and entered her heavenly home on February 28, 2018. Evangelist Stevens was a faithful member of Shiloh Baptist Church, pastored by Reverend Barry Thomas. She was a 1995 graduate of Charles Harrison Mason System of Bible Colleges.
Evangelist Stevens leaves to cherish her memories, two sons, Joseph (Regina) Poullard of Katy, TX. and Darrell Wayne (Vanesia) Jones of Houston, TX; three daughters, Catherine Barriere of Houston, TX., Stacy (Lance) Robinson of Moss Bluff, LA., an Tracy L. Johnson of Lake Charles, LA; six sisters, Wila Mae Freeman of Ville Platte, LA., Mercy Lee (Kelly) Guillory of Ville Platte, LA., Joyce (Leroy) Broussard of Lake Charles, LA., Melveola (Hamilton) Leviege of Lake Charles, LA., Jeanella Burleigh of Beaumont, TX., and Eleanor (Larry) Jackson of Ormand Beach, FL; one brother; Benjamin (Charmaine) Stevens of Lake Charles, LA; ten Grandchildren and two Great Granchildren.
She was preceded in death by her mother, Hazel Slaughter Stevens; her father, Linton Stevens; three brothers, Lawrence Stevens, Linton Stevens, Jr., and Lucious Stevens; Stepdaughter, Patricia Pegues; Stepson, David Reed.
Funeral services will be held on Saturday, March 10, 2018 at Shiloh Baptist Church, 3425 5th Ave, Lake Charles, LA. with Pastor Reverend Barry Thomas officiating. Visitation will be held in the church from 9:00 am until time of Funeral. Burial will be in Combre Memorial Park under the direction of Semien-Lewis Mortuary of Jennings, LA.
