Eric Louis Simeon, 64, a resident of Lafayette, Louisiana entered into eternal rest on Saturday, April 13, 2024, at his residence with his loving wife and family by his side.  Eric was born in Lafayette, LA on February 29, 1960, to Eula Mae Lee Simeon and Willie Simeon.  After completing his high school education, Eric worked as a Security Officer in many different states and later moved to Lafayette, LA.  He was married to Jackie Lynn Simeon for the past 10 years.  Eric loved his family dearly and was a father figure to many of his nieces and nephews and was a brother to so many people.

Eric was preceded in death by his parents, Willie and Eula Mae Simeon; two special nephews, Nicholas Simeon Jr. and Damien Williams; his father-in-law, Michael Gary.

Eric leaves to cherish his loving memories, his wife, Jackie Lynn Simeon; his godchildren, Cortland Lee of Jennings, LA., Joshua Blanchard of Baytown, TX., Micah Blanchard of Houston, TX., Cedric Anderson Jr. of Jennings, LA., Erica Clay of Jennings, LA., and Zayia Simeon of Jennings, LA; his siblings, Willie R. Simeon (Marylyn) of Copperas Cove, TX., Linda Travis of Lake Charles, LA., Connie Simeon of Jennings, LA., Anthony Simeon (Anita) of Lake Charles, LA., Nicholas Simeon (Gretchen) of Austin, TX., and Lori Simeon of Jennings, LA; his in-laws, Carol & Timmy Darbonne, Ronnie Landry, Danielle Andrus (Phillip), August Darbonne (Chris), Justin Darbonne (Danielle), and Skylar Gary (Lacie); a host of very special nieces & nephews, other relatives and friends.

Visiting with family and friends will be from 1pm to 3pm Saturday, April 20, 2024, in the Church Chapel at Semien-Lewis Mortuary in Jennings, LA.  Celebration of Life Tributes will begin at 3pm in the Church Chapel.  Burial will follow in Peterson Memorial Cemetery in Jennings, LA under the direction of Semien-Lewis Mortuary.
