Mrs. Eula M. Simeon, 86 Mrs. Simeon entered into eternal rest on January 16, 2011 at the Jennings Guest House in Jennings, LA. Eula was born on January 14, 1925 to the late Reverend William and Angel Lee. She was a native Silverwood, LA and life-long resident of Jennings, LA. Mrs. Simeon was a faithful member of Union Baptist Church in Jennings,LA. Mrs. Simeon attended Leland College and taught school for a while and later became a homemaker and enjoyed baking pies. She was survived by four sons; Willie (Marilyn) Simeon, Copperas Cove, TX., Anthony (Anita) Simeon, Lake Charles, LA, Nicholas (Gretchen) Simeon, Austin, TX., Eric Simeon, Jennings, LA., three daughters; Linda Simeon Travis, Lake Charles, Connie Simeon and Lori Simeon of Jennings, LA., five sisters; Mrs. Elziner Jones and Leola Hawkins of Los Angeles, CA., Rosa Wilridge, Oakland, CA., Dorothy Vittito Brumfield, Jennings, LA., Edna Gray (Leland) Lafayette, LA., twenty-three grandchildren and thirteen great-grandchildren, one special God-daughter Helen Ballard, Houston, TX., and a niece who is like a sister; Bessie Blanchard, Orange, TX. She was preceded in death by her husband; Willie Simeon, both parents; Reverend William and Angel Livings Lee, four sisters; Joyce Lucas, Isabel Anderson, Mabel Adams, Rosa Lee Parker, three brothers; Joe Lee, Vincent Lee and William Lee. Funeral services will be at 11:00 am on Saturday, January 22, 2011 at Union Baptist Church with Reverend Gerald Perkins officiating. Visitation will be from 8am until the time of the funeral at the church
