Mrs. Evelina Woods Langham A native of Elton, LA and resident of Breaux Bridge, LA. Evelina Woods Langham was called from labor to heavenly reward on Saturday, September 15, 2012, at the age of 70. Evelina was born in Elton, LA., on November 2, 1941 to Isabella Bazile and Ignation Woods. She was a faithful member of Golden Chain Baptist Church in Elton, LA., and served as a member of the Mission. Funeral services are scheduled for 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, September 22, 2012 at the Faith Deliverance Temple Church in Elton, LA., with the Eulogy by Reverend Samuel West and Reverend Dewayne Miller officiating. Visitation will be in the church from 8:00 a.m. - 11:00 a.m. Interment will be in the Eternal Rest Cemetery in Elton, LA. under the direction of Semien-Lewis Mortuary. Cherishing her memories are; one daughter, Yvette Langham (Dennis) Andrus of Rayne, LA; two sons, David Langham Jr. of Austin, TX., and Jessie (Kethyse) Langham of Woodbridge, VA; four brothers, Charles Woods Sr. of Lake Charles, LA., Warren (Andrea) Woods, and Paul Woods Sr., both of Jennings, LA; three sisters, Celia Woods Allison of Jennings, LA., Cindy (Roy) Miles of Kinder, LA., and Charlotte (Darrell) Bias of Lake Charles, LA; ten grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by two brothers, Ingnation Woods Jr., and Lee Woods; one sister, Betty Woods. Funeral arrangements are pending.
