Mrs. Genevieve Gloston-Francis, 69, affectionately known as "Mo Moo", completed her earthly journey on Tuesday, August 9, 2022, at her niece's home in Ocean Springs, MS.  Genevieve was one of ten children born to Joseph Cosar Gloston and Angie Bias Gloston in Lake Charles, LA.  She lived most of her life in Jennings, LA and worked as a Certified Nursing Assistant with Jeff Davis Living Center.  She was married to the late Butch Francis.  Genevieve, after becoming ill moved to Ocean Springs, MS and was cared for by her niece Johnette Gloston until her passing.

Genevieve is survived by her loving and caring nieces, Johnette Gloston of Ocean Springs, MS., Yvette Gloston of Sulphur, LA., and Monica Gloston of Biloxi, MS; her sisters, Effie Celestine of Atlanta, GA, Joanne Collins, and Linda Gloston of Jennings, LA; her special friend, Gerry Simon of Alexandria, LA; a host of nephews, nieces, other relatives, and friends.

Genevieve was preceded in death by her parents, Joseph and Angie Gloston; her brothers, Wilbert "Duck" Gloston, Artis Gloston, Willie Gloston, and William Gloston; her sisters, Angie L. Gloston and Geneva M. Gloston.

Graveside services will be held at 10:30 am, Saturday, August 13, 2022, in the Branch Cemetery with Reverend Pernell R. Trent officiating.  Burial will follow under the direction of Semien-Lewis Mortuary of Jennings, LA.
