Sister Georgia Mae Bernard Williamson transitioned for earthly labor to Heavenly reward on Friday, March 15, 2024, at her residence while surrounded by her loving son and family.  Sister Williamson was born in Patoutville, Louisiana on October 25, 1939, to the late Charlotte Jenkins Bernard and Andrew Bernard, Sr.  Sister Williamson accepted Christ as her Lord and Savior at an early age and was a member of Mill Street Church of Christ.  She retired as a Childcare Manager with 30 plus years of service.  Sister Williamson was a loving person and would always give of herself to help family and friends.  She will be missed, and her memory will live on in the hearts of those who were blessed to know her.

Sister Williamson was preceded in death by her parents, Charlotte and Andrew Bernard Sr; her son, Danny Williamson, Sr; her granddaughter, Kelly Williamson and great-great-granddaughter, Karisse Williamson; her sisters, Virginia Bernard Williams, Mary Lee Bernard, Alice Bernard Alexander, Jessie Mae Bernard Iford, and Ameilia Bernard; her brothers, Andrew Bernard, Jr., Moses Bernard, Sr., and David Bernard, Sr.

Sister Williamson leaves to honor and cherish her memories, her sons, Kenneth Wayne Williamson, Sr. and John Williamson; her brothers, Elton Bernard, Sr. and Joseph Bernard, Sr; her sisters, Margret Emma Bernard, Gustina Lewis, and Gertrude Haggar; her grandchildren, Danny (Malisa) Williamson, Jr., Gilbert Brown, Kamiesha (Brandon) Paul, Derrick (Veronica) Bordelon, Robyn (Jamey) Lemons, Kenneth Williamson, Jr., Dametris Williamson, and Edward (Mo) Williamson; her great-grandchildren, Danny Williamson, III, Damon Williamson, Kiara Lubin, Beika (Stonia) Jr., Breauna Paul, Jessica Hayes, Kade Paul, Dajah Bordelon, Derrick Bordelon, Jr., Davon Bordelon, Dalyn Bordelon, Kyra Williamson, Jaylin Williamson, Jordyn Williamson, Amina Cannon, Nalon Williamson, Myles Williamson, Skyi Rodriquez, Ivah Rodriquez, and Hannah Rodriquez; her great-great-grandchildren, Ariana Johnson, Ahiyah Johnson, Naliyah Johnson, and Addelyn Johnson.
