Mr. Gerald W. Simon, 67, entered eternal rest on January 17, 2018 in a local care Center.  Funeral Services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Thursday, January 25, 2018 in Union Baptist Church.  Rev Gerald W. Perkins, Sr. will officiate. Burial will be in Peterson Cemetery, under direction  of Semien-Lewis Mortuary of Jennings. Visitation will be in the church at 9:00 a.m. until the time of Funeral Service.


Mr. Simon was a resident of Jennings, LA and a member of Union Baptist Church pastored by Reverend Gerald W. Perkins, Sr. He leaves to cherish his memories, three children, Shaneka (Shawn) Simon, Gerald (Misty) Holden and Prentis Prudhomme; two brothers, Terry (Wanda) Simon and Kirk( Louwanda) Simon; five sisters, Linda Alfred, Michelle (Reginald )Sanders, Nordell (Milford) Reed, Lisa (Kenneth) Charles, and Deidre Sanders; stepfather, Elijah Sanders; nine grandchildren; godchild, Shena Abraham; godmother, Wener Carr; aunts, Joan Simon and Yvonne Celestine; special friend, Virginia Stagg Simon.

He was preceded in death by his mother, Lillie B. Sanders; brothers, Kerry Simon and James Sanders.
