Gloria D. Johnson, 81 Gloria Johnson was a native and resident of Lake Arthur, LA. She was born on September 23, 1930 to Joseph Dugas and Beaulah Richmond Dugas. She died on September 27, 2011 at Lafayette Regional Medical Center in Lafayette, LA. Gloria was a retired school educator with 37 years of service and was a member of Antioch Baptist Church in Lake Arthur, LA. She is survived by one son, Frederick James Johnson of Indianapolis, Indiana; one daughter, Brenda Smith Miller of Houston, TX; three sisters, Mrs. Theodora Cade of Lake Arthur, LA., Mrs. Mercedes Snowdan of Carthridge, TX., Mrs. Terrie Lynn Matthews of Houston, TX., and four grandchildren. Funeral services are scheduled for 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, October 8, 2001 at Antioch Baptist Church in Lake Arthur, LA., with Rev. Henry Comeaux, Pastor officiating. Visitation will be in the church from 9:00 a.m. until the time of funeral. Burial will be in the Antioch Baptist Church Cemetery.
