Harold Joseph Miller, 53, gained his heavenly wings on July 13, 2023.  Harold was born in Jennings, LA on December 1, 1969.  He was the son of Adella and Leonard Miller of Lowery, LA.

Harold worked in the Oil Field for many years however, he was the definition of a self-made entrepreneur.  Each season he was selling something different.  He sold everything from seafood to produce.  In his free time, he enjoyed cooking, baking, fishing, and spending time with the people he loved.  He also enjoyed a good long car ride with his favorite radio station playing in the background, 97.3 the Dawg.  Family meant absolutely everything to Harold, regardless if they were blood or not.  He loved his wife and every one of his children and grandchildren dearly.  Although he's gone, we will always have the memory of the nice man with the gray beard selling produce on the side of the road.

Harold is survived by his wife, Edmona Charles Miller of Jennings, LA; his daughters, Alaney Charles of Lafayette, LA, Xaviera Charles of Grambling, LA, Da'Nyica Miller of Jennings, LA, and Kymberly Miller of Jennings, LA; his sons, Christopher Miller and Xacharie Miller, both of Jennings, LA; his grandchildren, Holden Hoffpauir of Hathaway, LA, Zandon Hayes of Lafayette, LA, and Emery Caldwell of Grambling, LA; his sisters, Della (Keith Broussard) Miller of Hathaway, LA and Margie Dufrene of Larose, LA; his brothers, Roy (Cheryl Trahan) Lee of Lowry, LA, Reed (Yvette Trahan) Miller of Panchoville, LA, Leonard (Kathy Bergeron) Miller of LeBleu Settlement, LA, Jimmy (Wendy Caswell) Miller of Lowry, LA, John (Elaine Guidry, deceased) Paul of Lowry, LA, Sammy Petit of Moss Point, MS, and Willie DeFelice of Cut Off, LA; his loving godchildren, Adella Miller, Trent Miller, Kaycee Robinson, and Trevin Levine.

Harold was preceded in death by his son, Desmond Rae Miller; his brothers, Lee Roy Miller and Ursin (Mary) Miller; his parents, Adella & Leonard Miller.

Celebration of Life Services will be held at 11:00 am Friday, July 21, 2023, in the Church Chapel at Semien-Lewis Mortuary, 819 N. State Street in Jennings, LA.  Reverend Emerson Batey, Pastor of Antioch Baptist Church in Lake Arthur, LA will officiate.  Visiting with family and friends will be in the Church Chapel from 9:00 am until the time of Celebration Services.  Cremation will follow under the direction of Semien-Lewis Mortuary of Jennings, LA.
