Mr. Horace Wayne "Batt" Lafleur, age 46, was called from his earthly labor to his heavenly reward on August 28, 2015. Mr. Lafleur was a native and life-long resident of Lake Charles, LA. He was born on January 10, 1969 to Horace Lafleur and Priscilla Washington. He was a member of Old Emanuel Baptist Church. Horace worked as a laborer for Abita Builder. In his spare time, he loved to fish and be with family and friends. Mr. Lafleur is survived by his father, Horace Lafleur of Lake Charles, La.; one brother; Cedrick (Tammie) Lafleur of Houston, Tx.; two sisters, Christalyn Washington of Houston, Tx., and Sheronda (Don) Caldwell of Lake Charles, La. He was proceeded in death by his mother, Priscilla Washington. Visitation is Saturday, September 5, 2015 at The Sound Worship Center at 9:00 A.M. until time of service. Funeral service is at 11:00 A.M. with Cedrick Lafleur officiating. 2 Timothy 4:7-8: I have fought a good fight, I have finished my course, I have kept the faith: Henceforth there is laid up for me a crown of righteousness, which the Lord, the righteous judge, shall give me at that day: and not to me only, but unto all them also that love his appearing.
