Mr. Howard Roy Lee, 80, transitioned from his earthly home to be with his Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on Monday, January 15, 2018 while at his residence.  He was a resident of Jennings, LA.  Mr. Lee was a member of Union Baptist Church in Jennings, LA. pastored by Reverend Gerald W. Perkins and he was a member of the church choir for several years.

Mr. Lee served in the United States Army where he received an honorable discharge.  He was a retired worker with Zigler Shipyard in Jennings, LA. after several years of service.

Mr. Lee is survived by his brother, Freddie Lee; sister, Carolyn Gordon.  He was preceded in death by his parents.

Funeral services will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday, February 3, 2018 in Union Baptist Church, 1014 South Main Street, Jennings, LA. with Reverend Gerald W. Perkins, Sr. officiating.  Burial will be in Parkview Cemetery in Jennings, LA. under the direction of Semien-Lewis Mortuary of Jennings, LA.
