Ian Phillip Arceneaux, 30, passed away at his residence on Tuesday, July 26, 2022.  Ian was born In Jennings, Louisiana on May 5, 1992 to Phillip and Lelia Nixon Arceneaux.  He accepted Christ at an early age and entered the waters of baptism at Our Lady of Perpetual Help Catholic Church.  Ian was a 2010 graduate of Jennings High School where he was a member of the Band and played the Saxophone.  Ian previously worked at Peto's Travel Center in Roanoke, LA and was currently employed as a Delivery Driver with FedEx of Lake Charles, LA.

Ian is survived by his son, Ian C. Arceneaux; his parents, Phillip and Lelia Arceneaux of Jennings, LA; his brother Kedrick J. Nixon, Sr; his sister, Krista (Donavan) Arceneaux; his maternal grandparents, Joe & Laura Nixon; his nephews, Kedrick J. Nixon, Jr. of Lafayette, LA and Dallas K. Thibodeaux of Spring, TX; his godmother, Joyce Alexander;  a host of other relatives and friends.

Ian was preceded in death by his grandparents, Albert Sr. & Dorothy Arceneaux; his godparents, Joe Alexander Sr. & Kelly Sue Christopher.

Celebration of Life Services for Ian will be held at 11:00 am Saturday, August 6, 2022, in the Church Chapel at Semien-Lewis Mortuary, 819 N. State Street in Jennings, LA.  Father Jude Fernando will officiate.  Visiting will be held from 9:00 am - 11:00 am in the Chapel.  Cremation will follow under the direction of Semien-Lewis Mortuary of Jennings, LA.
