Israel Floyd Perrodin, 52, a life-long resident of Lake Charles, Louisiana, passed away suddenly on February 4, 2021, in Opelousas, Louisiana.  Floyd was born on July 19, 1968, in Lake Charles, LA. to Shirley Floyd and Betty Jean Perrodin.  Floyd worked the majority of career in the Offshore Oil Industry as a Cook and currently with Walmart Corporation as a Stocker.  He was a member of Immaculate Heart of Mary Catholic Church, pastored by Reverend V. Wayne LeBleu.  Floyd loved cooking and was the official seafood boiler for the family.  He was fan of the New Orleans Saints Football Team.

Floyd leaves to cherish his fond memories, his daughter, Gabrielle Perrodin of Lake Charles, LA; his father, Shirley Floyd Perrodin of Lake Charles, LA; his sisters, Olivia Humphries (Dan) of Lake Charles, LA., Lucia Love (Brian) of Lake Charles, LA., and Elizabeth McAllister (Glen) of Millville, NJ; his Godmother, Rosa Woods (Frank) of Lake Charles, LA; his aunt, Veronica Guillory of Lake Charles, LA; brother-in-law, Derrick Johnson of Lake Charles, LA; a host of nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends.

Floyd was preceded in death by his mother, Betty Jean Perrodin; sister, Nita Johnson; maternal grandparents, Israel & Gladys Guillory.

A public viewing will be held from 9 am - 11 am at Semien-Lewis Mortuary, 819 N. State Street in Jennings, LA.  A Mass of Christian Burial will be in Immaculate Heart of Mary Catholic Church in Lake Charles with Rev. V. Wayne LeBleu officiating.  Burial will be in Sacred Heart Cemetery under the direction of Semien-Lewis Mortuary of Jennings, LA.
