Funeral Services for James Ronald Lee, 68, will be Saturday, April 13,2013 in Mt. Triumph Baptist Church located in Jennings, Louisiana. Visitation will be in Mt. Triumph Baptist Church on Saturday, April 13, 2013 from 9:00 AM until time of service. Rev. Samuel West Jr. will officiate. James "Ronald" Lee was born in Lafayette,La on September 8, 1944 to Rosena Davis Lee and the late James N. Lee. He was baptized at an early age at Mt. Triumph Baptist Church under the late Rev. Jeff Peterson. He as educated throughout the Jefferson Davis School System. He was a very loving, affectionate, giving person and throughout his life, he raised and nurtured many children. Ronald was a gifted pianist and the love of music throughout the Lee Family led him to play for various churches and organizations: Christ Santified Holy Church(Jennings,LA) Jeff Davis Community Choir and Fondel Memorial Chapel(Jennings,LA), Mt Zion B.C. and Crowley Community Choir (Crowley,LA), New Hope Baptist Church(Welsh,La), Golden Chain Baptist Church(Elton,LA), New Sunlight B.C.(Mermentau,LA), Progressive B.C. (Iota,LA) and Mt. Triumph B.C.(Jennings,LA)and the Jeff Davis Living Center(Jennings,LA). He continued to play until his health failed him. After a long battle of illnesses on Wednesday, April 3, 2013 at Cornerstone Rehab Hospital in Sulphur, LA he slipped away into a peaceful sleep and began his eternal rest.
