Jerry Wayne Wilson, Sr. 74, entered into eternal rest at his residence on Monday, September 4, 2023.  Jerry was born on October 15, 1948, in Gueydan, LA to Alma Hebert Wilson and Doris Wilson, Sr.  He was the 6th child of 13 children and enjoyed dancing and spending time with his family and friends.  Jerry was a hard worker and held jobs in the Offshore Oil Industry and the Rice Manufacturing Industry.

Jerry Wilson leaves cherished memories to 6 loving children, Jerry Wilson, Jr. of Temple, TX, Marcus (Faline) Daniels of Lake Arthur, LA, Lekeshia (Brandon) Wilridge, Anetria (Joseph III) Clark, Amber (Quentin) Maxile, and & Sierra (Henry III) Riley all of Gueydan, LA.

Celebration of Life Services will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday, September 9, 2023, at Mt. Zion Baptist Church, 310 13th Street in Gueydan, LA.  Pastor Reverend Peter Joseph will officiate.  Visitation is from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. in the church.  Final arrangements entrusted to Semien-Lewis Mortuary of Jennings, LA.
